Heart Revival

Heart Revival

The human heart relies on small electric currents to contract and pump blood out into the arteries.
This can be seen by an electrocardiogram (ECG) report. It measures the electric currents passing
through our hearts.
But, when those electric currents go haywire, so does the pumping action of the heart. Thus,
heartbeats become erratic or irregular.
How to treat this?
This is when a technique called heart revival or defibrillation is used.
In other words, defibrillation is a treatment during a life-threatening condition when the heartbeat
becomes irregular – either too slow or too fast and such conditions are called heart arrhythmia. Two
very common conditions when defibrillation is commonly needed/used includes:
• ventricular fibrillation (VF)
• non-perfusing ventricular tachycardia (VT).
Defibrillation or heart revival is carried out with the help of a device called a Defibrillator. A
defibrillator is a machine that delivers a controlled amount of electric current to the heart. A
defibrillator is used when the heartbeat of the patient is erratic, or no rhythm.
When a human being suffers from cardiac arrest, many things could potentially be happening to
their heart.
First and foremost, they could have a rapid heart rhythm which is known as tachycardia. Another
condition is when a disorganized electrical rhythm occurs. It doesn’t allow heart muscles to contract
(fibrillation), or they could have no electrical current passing through their heart (asystole). In such
situations, a heart revival can be used to help the patient.
Heart Revival is also done with means of Ayurveda.
Let us find out how.
There are various Ayurvedic formulas which take care of the functioning of the heart through proper
maintenance of blood pressure. With the help of major heart-friendly herbs such as Arjuna,
Ashwagandha, and Guggul along with Gotu Kola and Shankhapushpi, the formulas are formed.

How does heart revival take place through Ayurveda?
It works on a balanced combination of herbs to provide strength to the ailing heart. With regular
usage, the cholesterol level is kept under control. Even the artery blockage is checked and relieved.
Taking into consideration the cardioprotective features of herbs, the heart revival process is
implemented. Through research, it is found that Arjuna helps to a great extent in nurturing
cardiovascular health.
